Points of Encounter

I’ll always leave

our coffee date

pending,

to keep the door

open

and give you one more chance.

In case one day we freeze time,

in case this adventure ends in a final moment,

in case a new beginning unfolds,

it will be a back-and-forth,

a sigh,

so we can find each other again

over a cup of coffee.

Because we are enough,

because even if we leave memories behind,

you will always have me.

At first, it will be hard to imagine

everything we let slip by,

but there will be no choice but to move forward

and return to planet Earth.

In the meantime, we’ll keep

conspiring in crime,

and you’ll have my full attention

as we learn and uncover

different points of encounter.

Dejaré pendiente siempre

nuestra cita del café,

para dejar la puerta

abierta,

y brindarte una oportunidad.

Por si un día detenemos el tiempo,

por si esta aventura termina en una última vez,

por si acontece un reinicio,

será un vaivén,

un suspiro,

para que volvamos a encontrarnos

a partir de un café.

Porque somos suficientes,

porque aunque dejemos recuerdos atrás,

conmigo siempre contarás.

Y al inicio costará imaginar

todo lo que dejamos pasar,

pero no habrá otra opción que avanzar

y regresar al planeta Tierra.

Mientras tanto, seguiremos

conspirando en el crimen,

y tendrás toda mi atención,

conociendo y descubriendo

diferentes puntos de encuentro.
